About Us
Several years ago, God placed a burden on my heart for pastors. I truly do not believe most people have an understanding of what they deal with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In short, for five years I hosted a Pastor Appreciation Golf Tournament for the pastors of Central Florida when I was a manager with LifeWay Christian Stores. This was a free day for pastors across denominational lines, which provided them a needed time of rest, relaxation and fellowship.
In addition to a free round of golf, each pastor received lunch, a dinner banquet, generous giveaways and entertainment during dinner from some of the best Christian entertainers in the business. Since I began hosting the Pastor Appreciation Golf Tournaments, we have had over 2000 pastors from different denominations participate in our events. In obediance to God's prompting, Pastor Appreciation Ministries was created in February 2006 not only to rekindle this event in Orlando, but also to take it across the country.
