Pastor Appreciation Ministries is a non-profit ministry based in Central Florida dedicated to the building up and encouragement of pastors across denominational lines. With your support, Pastor Appreciation Ministries hosts an annual Pastor Appreciation Golf Tournament for 288 Central Florida pastors. This is a FREE event for pastors to thank them for what they do.  Beginning in 2009 our hope is to host additional tournaments throughout the country. 

Last year’s Pastor Appreciation Golf Tournament was held Monday, October 1, 2007 at Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge in Orlando, Florida.  It was a day for our pastors to relax and fellowship over a round of golf, lunch, dinner, Christian entertainment and prizes—all courtesy of generous individual and business sponsors covering the expenses.

Have you ever given thought to all a pastor does?...

At times, we tend to forget the responsibilities pastors have for their churches, not to mention their own families. They not only prepare a message each week, but they are always expected to be "on." They are the ones who perform a wedding one day and possibly a funeral the next. They are the ones who receive phone calls in the wee hours of the night to bring comfort to those in need. They are the ones who may have to make an unpopular decision for the church, but the right decision by God. They are the ones who counsel us during times of trial and comfort us during pain. They are the ones who visit us or a loved one in the hospital. They are the ones... They are the ones...

It must feel like the weight of the world is on our pastors’ shoulders. It is for this reason that we want to simply give back a little to our pastors. Our hope is to lighten their load, at least for a day, and minister to those that minister to us. We invite you to be a part of encouraging those who are there for us on a daily basis.
